   Abstract to Earth Consultants (ATEC) is a full service Architectural Consulting, Inspection, Construction Counselling, and Real Estate Consulting Firm. We help our clients translate their (abstract) housing dreams and ideas into a real, built product in the ground (to earth).

    DESIGN   The design work for your construction job. ATEC can prepare everything including design concepts, detailed design, working drawings, and tender documents.
           
    PROJECT MANAGEMENT   ATEC manages any or all elements of the project, including supervising the bid process and monitoring the construction on your behalf.
           
    DEVELOPMENT   ATEC offers real estate development services including site development, public consultation and municipal approvals (including site plan approval and rezoning). ATEC has successfully taken a number of projects right through the Ontario Municipal Board approval.
           
    EDUCATION   ATEC delivers courses and seminars related to building, construction, and real estate. We teach Home Construction and Renovation, and Home Inspection workshops for the school boards. ATEC gives free Home Inspection Seminars throughout the region and participates in Home Buyer Seminars on a regular basis. ATEC also provides custom courses to various housing associations and organizations, as needed.
           
    Abstract to Earth Consultants has been providing sound, reliable, cost effective architectural and housing consulting services for over 15 years. ATEC provides both technical and creative architecture design with tailored expert engineering input in a client oriented, cost effective manner. ATEC brings a background in Architecture, Building Technology and Project Management to all aspects of the project: design and specification writing, tendering, and contract management. In the course of the work, ATEC provides overall direction, coordination and representation on behalf of the client. All specialists (soils expert, roofing consultant, structural engineer, etc.) are consulted as needed with client approval. ATEC integrates their input into the overall project, thus limiting the project time of these more expensive consultants to precisely the desired product and keeping costs down.

A significant part of ATEC's activities is the performance of consumer Home Inspections through AccuChex Building Inspectors, a registered division. Home Inspections are of interest to people buying or selling a house, as well as those experiencing specific problems with their current home. Please refer to the inspection pages.
